Principal Investigator/Coordinator
Sara Cunha
The Aqua-Impact project investigates the impact of the signal crayfish (Pacifastacus leniusculus) on European freshwater ecosystems. The project aims to develop mitigation strategies through four key tasks, while also investigating interactions with global stressors such as pollution and climate change. In line with SDGs 6, 13 and 15, the project collaborates with local communities to devise evidence-based management strategies to preserve biodiversity.
